There are some things that I have left undone the past year.I was bestowed with two awards in December and I totally forgot do my “thank you” blog post to the  (poor/innocent) good  souls who have awarded me with the 7×7 award and Leibster award. Thank you Zendictive,  Ari Rambles and HaLin! You trio  rock! (In a purely non-Marilyn Mansonesque way, may I add.)

1. 7×7 award (Zendictive)

Here’s how this works: the awardee selects seven previous blog posts that represent certain categories: Most Beautiful, Most Helpful, Most Popular, Most Controversial, Most Surprisingly Successful, Most Underrated, Most Prideworthy, and then you pass the award along to seven new recipients.

okay, here goes…

Most Beautiful.  I think one of the most beautiful things in the world is to fall in love. Hence it is “The Proposal.” Well, maybe some day…:)

Most Helpful: It had to be the first post that I wrote, which helped me shed my inhibition of writing to an audience and enter into the blogosphere (cue march music)

Most Popular: Well I really don’t know. Judging purely by the number of likes, it is the post about being f******ked (Mom, IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS!! PUHLEEZ!)

Most Controversial…Has to be the 50 Cent blog post (and it was not even about THE 50 Cent!)

Most Surprisingly Successful… I really did not expect any comments for being the Rebellious Gmailer. But I got 5. Is that “surprisingly successful enough”? No? Hmm…

Most Underrated… I think it is Love. I tried to write a short story (a really short story). Apparently, love was not enough 😦

Most Prideworthy… Well this one. I wrote it in 2009 and rediscovered it in 2011.

Seven new recipients (in no particular order): (I love his humor) (a perfect rest stop for a travelholic) ( imaginative and talented blogger) (a talented writer) (a wonderful blog to start your day) (makes me smile with her writings on “everyday”ness) (I like his photography work) (she is into colors and has also published a book recently)

Congrats to all of you!

2. Leibster award (from   Ari Rambles and HaLin)

Ari is one of my favorite bloggers. He writes this Awesome Anushka series, which is awesome!  Ha Lin calls me a motor brain (and also assures me it is a good thing to be called). Sniff,my mom would have been so proud that somebody called me a motor something! She always berates me for being stuck to furniture and not being “motor enough”. Look mom, I am a motor brain! Happy? No? Sniff…

I will pass on this award when I come across people who haven’t already been nominated. I promise!

Thank you. As always, quoting an overexcited Oscar winner and subsequent spot-on impersonation by The Mask,

“You love me, you really love me”!
